Palmer bought an island on the south fork of the Holston River, in order to build a mill. This land cut into Stoffle's land, whom the tract was purchased from. Palmer was meant to pay for any trees he cut down, but not for the ones left standing. The two were in disagreement about the use and boundaries of property once building commenced. |

Barker claimed that plaintiff was liable to him for $20,000. Plaintiff sought an account of both guardianships, that the court ratify all investments made by Vires, & that all loans be appraised. Surviving Ben were wife Alice and children Jim, Landon Cole, Hugh Cole, Mamie Taylor, Oakley Arnold, and Earnest Cole. Alice's illegitimate son, Walter Cole, also shared in the inheritance. Jim claimed that he was gypped out of his true share. |

Perry induced him to purchase equipment for a barbershop Perry was opening in Kingsport, Tennessee known as the O. K. Barber Shop and located on Boone Street. Perry went to jail in 1927 and, against his agreement with the pla., transferred ownership of the shop to Pyle who then sold it to Bellamy. Pla. claims that Perry had not right to dispose of his property. |

When out in the wood, the Glovers heard a shot then Arrants returned quite shaken. Both Arrants & Richards were seen leaving the area soon after, & were accused of murdering the dec'd. Case mentions no name of dec'd, & no first names of the accused. |

Henderson & son had agreements with J. P. Gardner, to access lumber on the "Gardner Property." Hensley was contracted to haul lumber for Henderson, but fraudulently removed and sold lumber from the tract without paying Henderson. Henderson paid Gardner in advance to farm his land. Henderson ordered to pay $155 for the timber he stole. |

On 28 Nov. 1932 plaintiff purchased furniture from the defendant under a retention title contract; on 9 Nov. 1934 defendants repossessed the property without her consent or due process of law & sold it at a private sale for $79.50. At time of repossession plaintiff had paid defendants $43 & still owed a balance of $93.20. The value of the furniture is now less than the unpaid balance. Plaintiff sued to collect the $43 that she has already paid. |

This is an appeal. Original bill showed Shelly as plaintiff filing suit against Lipton, with William Garrison, James Rhea, Joseph Rhea & Garnet Rhea, for trespass with force & arms plus damages. May 1833, the group restrained Shelly and took 7 horses. In addition, goods & property were taken; the total value of stolen goods equals $1000, the amount Shelly sought for damages. |

Gammons agreed to sell to this firm the cattle they were then taking to market, but to date the firm has paid only $4,000 of the $10,664.75 selling price. Absalom Flourer has since died & Thomas is his admr. |

Sarah McPhatridge, widow of Francis Hodge who died in 1863. Alfred and Sarah McPhatridge tried to see last will and testament but were told they were burned up by a raiding party during the war. Sarah and their infant child were paid $500 each in Confederate money. Sarah dissented the will and seeks: a dower of 1/3 of all Hodge's real estate, including the house, a year's allowance, an 1/8 share of the personal property or its value in money, and the value of the growing crop. |

In 1859, the plaintiff purchased from the defendant 760 bushels of wheat at 85 cents per bushel and agreed by contract to split profits with the defendant should the flour be sold at $5 per barrel. The plaintiff later executed 4 notes of unknown amounts to the defendant per the contract. The defendant later filed a bill against the plaintiff for a debt, but the plaintiff states the executed notes covered the amount agreed upon. The bill is a response in that the plaintiff should be credited $280 for debt |
