Paducah & Memphis Railroad built a depot at Brighton having been paid to build it there. Plaintiff had bought land in Brighton and made improvements there to take advantage of the rail line. It also increased the value of his property. The rail company changed hands several times until acquired by the defendant who leased it to Illinois Central RR. In 1900, the defendant removed the depot, resulting in the suit. |
