View Entry | 1875 | J. E. Huff v. George W. York | Warren | Fraud |
In October 1869 Huff & James Shelton entered a contract with York to raise a crop of corn. York was to furnish the work horses, as well as board Shelton & Huff during the season. Once the crop was produced, Huff & Shelton were to live elsewhere. Additionally, Shelton sold a quarter of the crop without York's knowledge. York complained, refusing to share further profits from Huff. Huff sued to recover his share. |
