On 10 April 1863 the plntff. sold to the deft for $1200 an undivided interest in one-half of a tract of land, "acknowledging the receipt of the purchase money on the face of the deed". On 25 Nov. 1873 plntff. filed a bill asking that the deed by set aside because it had been fraudulently obtained. Gardener also spelled Gardiner. Add. Documents located in ET 1681. |
