Additional defendants: F.M. Jones and Grady Jones. Isbell sued defendants for rights to land, which were sold to P.C. Isbell by decree against Edmund Monroe, dec. for debt. However, defendants refused to give up land they were tenant to and threatened to shoot anyone who tried to eject them. Isbell also wanted receiver to take charge of corn crop on land to prevent defendants from using, selling, or destroying the crop. |

Dispute over a tract of land in Cannon County that consisted of 175 acres of land. The defendant owned land boarding to that of Vaser. Vaser claimed that Mitchell devised a plan to cheat and defraud him out of his land for less than half its worth by preying on his creditablity and fears by falas eand fraudulent respresntation that someone was about to sue him for a large claim. |

The case lists Susan as a "feme sole," being the widow of John Fitzpatrick, at the time she purchased a tract of land from Sullens. She claimed that Sullens convinced her not to have it recorded that the title he gave her was good enough. At a later time, Sullens had a bond recorded for his property that reached into the property he sold Susan. |
