Additional defendants: F.M. Jones and Grady Jones. Isbell sued defendants for rights to land, which were sold to P.C. Isbell by decree against Edmund Monroe, dec. for debt. However, defendants refused to give up land they were tenant to and threatened to shoot anyone who tried to eject them. Isbell also wanted receiver to take charge of corn crop on land to prevent defendants from using, selling, or destroying the crop.
