In 1828, Hall entered into a contract with plaintiff to complete extensive carpentry work on his house, to include roof, ceilings, walls, windows, doors, staircase and mantle pieces for the fee of $450. Plaintiff stated he boarded Hall during construction When the house was not completed, not covered and finished as agreed, the plaintiff sued for $400 he had paid. |
