J. L. Dibrell of White County died May 1910 leaving a will which appointed Meredith as admr. cum testamento anexo and qualified as such admr. and entered upon the discharge of the duties of trust. Dibrell in his lifetime borrowed for defendant $6700 & executed 2 notes. Only security taken was stock in Bon Air Coal & Iron Co. This stock and equal amount of said notes were sold and applied to the credit. However, Dibrell's estate insolvent and the defendant lost the majority of these notes. |
