Plaintiff, First National Bank of Nashville, sued the defendant, J. M. Hill, to recover a $175 draft that the defendant gave to W. F. Peay and was then transferred to the plaintiff. When the plaintiff forwarded the draft to the Lynnville Bank & Trust Co. for payment, it was protested by R. A. Mitchell, Giles County Notary Public, for lack of payment. |

Robert Bullew and others entered into an agreement to form a joint stock company for the purpose of manufacturing and supplying gas to Pulaski. The company goes by the name of Pulaski Mutual Gas Company. Patrick Dinken agreed to sell to them a parcel of land on which to build the company for $250.00 with interest. The deed for the property was given to Bullew and was never registered in the county. Dinken has never been paid for the land. |
