View Entry | 1934 | Charlie Spoon v. State | Grainger | Murder |
Charlie Spoon fired two shots at Roy Helton killing him. The incident occurred outside of Helton's restaurant and filling station. Although Spoon had a gun, Helton had only a glass Coca Cola bottle. Spoon was obviously drunk and swearing at Helton. Witnesses testified that the Coca Cola bottle could have been used as a weapon, and was a threat to Spoon's life. |
