Additional Defendants: W. C. Livesay. Davis executed notes to Livesay and Mullins for lands located in the 11th District of Hancock County on the north side of Indian Ridge. Davis claimed that the defendants never paid the balance on the notes and asked for repayment, a lien on the notes, and if not repaid, sale of the lands for repayment.

File incomplete. Contains 15 Scire Facias dated 18 Sept. 1891. Hobbs charged with second-degree murder. He could not be found & was believed to be staying in VA to "avoid process". See also: ET, Box 1083 & ET, Box 1753 (State V. Hiram Church). Church appears to have been another deft. in the case.
