Richardson offered to sell his horse for $150 and Hinard asked for fifty cents per bushel of his corn, for 800 bushels. Richardson said it was a good horse. Henard agreed to take the horse. Henard later decided the horse had "unsound eyes" and wanted to ify the agreement, but Richardson said it was too late. |

On 26 April 1889 Sallie W. Burns(?) assigned to the plntff. a $4000 note that had been executed to her by M. M. Wells on 19 Oct. 1888. The note was for 2 tracts of land that Wells purchased from Burns(?). The note, which was due 1 Sept. 1889, had not been paid by the deft. There was a lien on the lands for the payment. Plntff. asked the court to enforce the lien by selling the lands for an amount sufficient to satisfy the note. |

Johnson's father Isaac Johnson, dec. purchased certain lands from George R. Powell for $300. Unable to pay the entire sum, Wilson paid $156.25 and a deed of trust was established. Isaac died having never paid the debt and Wilson sought to recover the debt from the estate and heirs of Isaac. |
