View Entry 1931 J. B. & W. G. Brownlow, Agents for Leasing Company No. 1 v. Ressler Leather Company Knox Land and Title Dispute

Brownlows recovered judgment against Ressler for $430 & for possession of premises at No. 310 Wall Avenue in Knoxville, where proprietorship shoe repair business was located (known as Wall Avenue Shoe Shop). Shop at 1 point operated by Louis Friedman, brother-in-law of Fred Millen, who leased the premises from the Brownlows. Friedman had become indebted to Ressler, who allowed Millen's son Louis to operate the shoe repair shop until debt pd. Dispute over ownership of the shop.

View Entry 1931 James Solomon v. M. F. Sizer & Joe Thomas Knox Injury and Damages

In 1930, the plaintiff was driving his car along the road when the car owned by M. F. Sizer and operated by a man under his employment, Joe Thomas, recklessly and carelessly hit the plaintiff, causing serious injury to both the car and the plaintiff himself. Suing for damages in the sum of $5,000.
