Dickey filed bill to have a rescission of a deed and divestiture of the title of a tract of land containing 265 acres in the 9th and 9th districts of Knox County. The main consideration of the deed is that Norman would support Dickey of the rest of his life, providing clothing, food, Dr.'s bills, etc. ground were that Dickey was physically and mentally unsound to make a trade of his property and Norman took advantage of Dickey. |

Complainants F. C. Bearden and Archie Ferguson did business as Bearden & Ferguson, a firm that dealt in lumber, sash, doors, blinds, and other building materials. The company furnished such for erecting a house on a lot for Gaylon. He contracted the building to one Manis by verbal agreement. Manis never recorded the deed or paid anything on the house, so a real estate company sold the property to Gaylon. Gaylon sub-contracted the masonry to Scott, who eventually asked for a Mechanic's lien. |

As joint holder of the title, the plaintiffs contested the building of a railroad track through the middle of their timber land and claimed the deed to the land that the defendant railroad claimed to possess was a fake. |
