Incomplete case file: testimony only. Because only testimony is present, case details are difficult to discern. It seems that Mrs. Addie Prince Harrell had trouble with her eyes, perhaps an astigmatism. She seems to have gotten into an accident, but was not badly harmed. She was diagnosed as neurasthenic. What she claimed to the insurance company is not stated here. Much questioning about glasses and nervous disorder. |

Anderson was hired as a laborer during the construction of the post office & court house in Knoxville. He was paid at a rate of 22.5 cents an hour, but said he was doing iron rod work, a job that was paid a higher rate. Anderson sued to be paid the difference of the pay rate. J. B. Jones, a member of the building committee of the Holston National Bank, hired Ahler Plumbing to install a heating system in his house. Ahler bid on a project at the bank, & did the installation work at Jones' house so that he might recommend the bank hire Ahler. The pump was supplied at a much higher rate and Ahler sued to be relieved of the debt because it was not the price he had agreed to. |

Second jury ruled in Schwab's favor. Bounds appealed. Julius Ochs testified: Schwab acquired the property at issue from Frank Houseman, who owned small store in Knoxville (S. Levi & Bros) & wanted to sell out his stock. Goods later attached as Housman's property & replevied; this suit ensued. |
