View Entry | 1817 | David Winchester v. Matthew Gleaves | Maury | Land and Title Dispute |
In 1807, Winchester filed for ownershp of 300 acres that was supposed to run along property belonging to John Record. A mistake was made in the filing, naming Record as Robertson. Michael Gleaves had interest in this property, then died, leaving it to Matthew. This suit was filed to correct title to the property, and to clarify its locations and boundaries lawfully. |
