Plaintiff is a widow of Hunter Kittrell, the son of Seth Kittrell. After her husband died, plaintiff alleges that she made a contract with Seth Kittrell to remain and work in his home with her children and in return, Seth Kittrell would compensate her. Upon the death of Seth Kittrell, plaintiff found that he had left her only $1,000 thus violating their agreement. |

In 1870, Pltf's grandfather John O. Cooke sued Robert M. Cooke & others to vacate deed of gift. Pl (then 10) is only child of dad P.H. (now dec) & mom S.E. Cooke. S.E. employed Def (S.E.'s cousin) as their atty. Def received funds from 1870 suit on Pltf's behalf, which Pltf claims have not been fully paid over to him; hence this suit. Jones claims Pltf filed this suit to hinder Jones' election bid for attorney general, which he won in August of 1886. |
