Kidd was charged with two counts of violating the 4 mile law that outlawed the sale of liquor within 4 miles of a school house. Kidd left the liquor in a hiding place, told the buyer, the buyer took the liquor, leaving payment in the hiding place. Kidd claimed he didn't sell the liquor- he "found it" & gave it away. |
