Additional defendants: Albert Jones, Robert Ralston, James Ralston. Case concerns a debt for slaves sold in 1860 from the estate of Mary Hardeman, deceased. Jones under decree of the court sold saves on a credit of the property of the heirs of Hardeman. A. H. Ralson became the purchaser and gave his note with R. S. Ralson & J. H. Ralson as his sureties the note was not paid at maturity and Jones took a judgment on February 1860 for $5445.47. |
