This case involved a dispute over paying taxes for the said land that adjoining Murfreesboro. According to the act passed by the General Assembly in May 1866 that the said land in question could not be levied a tax against. |

Jones under decree of the court sold saves on a credit of the property of the heirs of Hardeman. A. H. Ralson became the purchaser and gave his note with R. S. Ralson & J. H. Ralson as his sureties the note was not paid at maturity and Jones took a judgment on February 1860 for $5445.47. |
