Add def: the husband of Isabella Scoff (name not given), and Wendel, Daisy, Earnest, and Willie Drumright, all children of Isabella Scoff and her now deceased husband W. B. Drumright. Kerr conveyed to W. B. Drumright a tract of land located in the 13th Civil District of Rutherford County in exchange for cash and two notes. After the death of her husband, Isabella re-conveyed said lot to Kerr and the notes were surrendered. Kerr now complains that the re-conveyance was a ity. |

This bill was brought to set aside a deed executed by the plaintiffs to the defendants because Travis was so impaired by the use of liquor that he was unable to understand the obligation of the contract.. In said contract the plaintiffs agreed to trade a house and lot located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to the defendants in exchange for a butcher business. M. J. Travis is the wife of James Z. Travis. |

Martin) The plaintiffs claim that said conveyance was an advancement rather than a gift and are seeking a decree partitioning said land and charging J. A. Martin with the 50 acres as advanced to her mother. |

Pla. brings suit seeking debt due by account for money paid to the def. on a sewing machine. Pla. complains that the def. brought a replevin suit against her to repossess said sewing machine but did not, as stipulated by law, advertise it for ten days, sell it at auction, and apply the proceeds to the satisfaction of the debt. The def. states that the sewing machine was rented and therefore it was not under any obligation to sell it at auction. Exhibit materials include lease receipt. |
