Add def: the husband of Isabella Scoff (name not given), and Wendel, Daisy, Earnest, and Willie Drumright, all children of Isabella Scoff and her now deceased husband W. B. Drumright. Kerr conveyed to W. B. Drumright a tract of land located in the 13th Civil District of Rutherford County in exchange for cash and two notes. After the death of her husband, Isabella re-conveyed said lot to Kerr and the notes were surrendered. Kerr now complains that the re-conveyance was a ity. |

Guion's grandfather Henry Winbourn received a land grant of 400 acres for Revolutionary War service. The same tract near Murfreesboro was claimed by Hardee Murfree. Winbourn died in Hertford County NC in 1793. Murfree's daughter Lavinia married Frank N.W. Burton inherited his claim to the land. Judge Samuel Anderson later purchased and lived on the land. |

Plaintiff was executed a deed of trust by Edward Adams dec. to a tract of land located in the 21st Civil District of Rutherford County to secure the payment of a sum of $215. Edward died having never paid the debt and the land remained in the possession of the defendant. Plaintiff claims he now owns said land and the defendant now refuses to leave. |

Myrick "mortgaged" an enslaved woman allowing Boyd to use her until the debt was recovered. She had a child. The suit was filed to settle the debt, & therefore the estate. |
