Additional Plaintiffs: Sallie C. Martin, wife Hugh: R. J. & Paul Cook; Walter Cotter & wife, Minnie. Stovall executor of Mrs. Ferreba Ann Hall, dec. Coahoma Co., MS Aug. 1898. Plaintiffs seek to overturn her will, arguing that she was insane at the time it was made & unduly influenced by Stovall & by Mary Ann Sparks & her husband, J. H. Sparks who are all named in her will. Also named: Elvira Maupin, wife John W.; Mollie E. Johnson; Adeline (Terrell) Maynard & Mary Branch, wife of B. O. Branch.

Lot 54, Barton and Lamb's Rayburn Ave. Subdivision, near Memphis

Complainant bought foreclosed land, formally belonging to Mrs. India E. Bell, plaintiff. Because the land was still under mortgage, the surplus money from the ale was left in the hands of trustees. Complainant alleges that property taxes for the years 1915, 1916, and 1917, which he paid, should have been paid out of the surplus money, instead of his own money.

The probate court removed the plaintiff as administrator of the estate of Richard T. Frierson, dec., and appointed Alma D. Frierson instead.

Defendant petitioned court to be made admr. of estate of A. T. Shaw, on grounds that he was Shaw's creditor & that Shaw had died intestate in MO, leaving property in TN but no heirs or widow. Plaintiff resident of Page Co., IA. Maintained that she was Shaw's widow, that he owed nothing to Pool, & asked that Pool's letters of administration be revoked & that she be made admr. Also stated Dr. Shaw died in Clarinda in Page Co., IA in 1882.

The Alsup farm in Shelby County was purchased by twenty men, with legal title in name of two trustees and real and equitable ownership was in certificate holders. Mr. Smith and Mr. Crisler, defendants, acquired all certificates, becoming sole real and equitable owners. Complainant suing for a specific performance and/or damages from property contract.

Plaintiff sues individually and as the administrator of the estate of William J. Klein (dec'd). Additional defendants listed in file. Issue of debts owed by the deceased's estate and the partitioning of the estate.

Contract dispute for damages for alleged failure to deliver certain coal which complainants claimed to have purchased during 1916-1917.

Mrs. Mary F. Fleming, widow of T.T. Fleming, petition to have year's support set aside out of estate fro her and her children. $6,000 in gold for minor children; $6,000 besides- total of $12,000. Sons: W.R. Fleming, John B. Fleming, Thomas Fleming.

Dispute over whether U of W TN had made payments on debt owned for land. Other defendants: R. Overby, Trustee W.H. Nealand Bank of Commerce and Trust Company. U of W TN was an African American Medical College open 1900-1923. Property in question located on South Phillips Street. File divided into 4 folders. Exhibits: bank conveyance for property, payment records, handwritten notes, receipts, checks, loan slips, debit slips, letters, insurance contract, ledger.

Complainants purchased land from H.S. Griffin, with W.M. Westbrook et al.purchasing 206.6 acres and Alex Hulon purchasing 94.46 acres. Deeds to both properties contained provisions that defendant would remove timber from the land. Complainants arguing that defendant did not remove timber in time allotted in contract, 2 1/2 years.
