John Armstrong gave Robertson a military land grant in 1784 for 5,756 acres. Armstrong died intestate with no heirs other than his brothers Martin in Tennessee, & Thomas in Ulster, Ireland. Matthew Brooks was named admr. of the estate. At his death, Armstrong owed William Lewis money, and Lewis sued the estate to recover.
