David Crenshaw had been found guilty of assault, false imprisonment and other charges against Luvena and ordered to pay $1000 damages. Lawsuit was filed because the $1000 had not been paid to Luvena. David Crenshaw is noted as originally being from Virginia, moving to TN in 1801. Luvena is listed as the daughter of "Delpha".
