The two parties entered into a partnership in 1827 distributing goods and merchandise in Marion County. When the plaintiff exited the partnership in 1835, the had sold around $20,000 in goods and still had 4,500 lbs. of bacon, 5 negro boys, cattle & hogs.

Garner McConnico died intestate; owed his bond to Mary Walker of $1,360.23 for money borrowed from her. McConnico made his deed of trust to Kinncaid in 1832, 100 acres of land, eighteen negroes and other personal property.
