Alfred owed his sister $1.50 & allegedly agreed to buy her what she wanted. At some point his sister took some items stating that Alfred would pay, but paid nothing herself. Snuffer was sued to recover the payment. |

Guion's grandfather Henry Winbourn received a land grant of 400 acres for Revolutionary War service. The same tract near Murfreesboro was claimed by Hardee Murfree. Winbourn died in Hertford County NC in 1793. Murfree's daughter Lavinia married Frank N.W. Burton inherited his claim to the land. Judge Samuel Anderson later purchased and lived on the land. |
