Plaintiff owned a tract of land for over fifteen years and conveyed and sold the land to Willis B. Sharp, his son-in-law, but he did not pay a consideration for the land. He then sold the land to the defendant. A deal was made to sell the land back to the plaintiff, but the defendant falsified the amount paid to Sharp for the land. Plaintiff sued for $550 difference for the land he bought back. |

Absolom Morris (dec.), grandfather to the plaintiffs, made his will, which equally divided his land and property. Issue rose out of trying to divide the slaves in possession of A. Morris upon his death. Filed bill to obtain an injunction against the defendants to prohibit them from selling any of the slaves who were the property of the deceased. |

Additional defendant: C. M. Black. The case involved a dispute on a tract of land owned by the plaintiff. Perry was a new citizen of Franklin County and befriended the defendant. Black offered to assist Perry with the land in question and Perry executed his notes for $2700 to Black in order to keep it away from his enemies. Once the property was safe Black was to rescind the contract. However Black bought the rest of the property and kicked Perry of the land. |

In 1835, the plaintiff signed as security on a note executed to the defendant for $130. The note was in the hands of the deputy sheriff. Later, the plaintiff notified the defendant to put the note in suit upon its maturity. But he did not and without the consent of the plaintiff, brought another suit against the principle of the note, Andrew Kirkpatrick and the plaintiff, for which judgment was rendered. This bill is an injunction to prevent further litigation against the plaintiff for the security. |

They filed the bill against the heirs of Joseph Bell (dec.), who knew of their ancestry, but claimed them as slaves illegally. Seeking a writ of injunction against the defendant, restraining her from selling and dispersing them. |

Although the plaintiff transferred the title to O'Dell, he never received any compensation for the land before his death. Plaintiff filed bill to obtain a writ of injunction restraining any dealings be made with the title to the land before a final judgment can be made. |

Defendants are executors of John Sharp (dec.). The plaintiff had a documented mental instability bordering on insanity and was deemed incapable of managing his own affairs. During this mental illness, he entered into a contract with the deceased Sharp for a tract of land. The plaintiff states that Sharp gouged the price of the land and took well over what the land was worth, especially it being in poor condition. Seeking an injunction to prevent the defendants from collecting notes paying for the sale. |

Plaintiff is the guardian of James C. McIntosh. Defendant is the administrator of the estate of James Morrow (dec.). The deceased entered into a partnership with Campbell, opening a drug store. Campbell forwarded money to purchase the drugs & medicines. J. Morrow eventually became too ill to attend to the store and the partnership dissolved, but the defendant tried to keep the debts on the accounts of the store and the plaintiff never received payment for his initial advancement. |
