Both parties had an arrangement in which McMahan furnished Grubb & Engledon with produce in exchange for their tailoring clothes for him. It was also agreed that both Grubb's & Engledon's accounts were blended. Plaintiff unaware of change in relationship between def'ts who later dispute in three other cases about account balances (what they did or did not receive). |

In 1841, Graves entered 40 acres in Ocoee District, southwest corner of southwest quarter of sec. 10, 4th fractional township, south range, five east of basis line. But certificate of entry mistakenly omitted "fractional" & "south". Entry 4120, Grant 4085 Graves sold the land to McCoy who sold to John M. Dow who sold to Dennison in 1853. Cox then caused entry to be made for the land in 1854. Entry 9058, Grant 7477. Hence this suit. |

Enoch entered land, transferred it to Nathan, who entered adjoining land & got state grant No. 299.62 for all 98-1/2 acres (entry 1183). Dispute with bro-in-law Ezekiel Chenoweth [Chinauth] (m. Nathan's sister Sarah). Other sibs: Lydia, Nancy, Barbary & Margaret Jobe; Mary (m. John White). Land on waters of Sinking Creek. |

Polly's brother, John McGhee had promised to purchase and settle for Polly's life and her children after her death a tract of land provided from Barclay McGhee's estate. Wm Lowry and John Lowry became insolvent. John died and title passed to his children (Add. deft's) who refuse to convey land to plaintiff. |

The defendant is the administrator of the estate of David Sharer, Jr. In 1837, Peter Hickman executed a bill to Thomas Titsworth for $1,120 and the plaintiff was a surety to it. P. Hickman then left to Mississippi & passed away without paying the creditors. D. Sharer, Jr. was also a creditor to the bill and took both sureties portions of the bill out of the plaintiff's property, namely a tract of land. |
