Defendants created an unofficial group named the Grangers and went into contract with plaintiffs to deliver 580 spring lambs on a certain day. The defendants failed to deliver the livestock and under the contract were supposed to pay $1 per head in damages plus a deposit put into a local bank. The defendants refused to pay either sum. |
