The plaintiff was admr. to George N. Simpson, dec. Additional defendants: T. R. Carmick Jr. (admr. of M. E. Moody) and J. S. Warters. At the time of George Simpson's death, he was a minor under the age of 21 and Alex Warters was his guardian. Humes claimed that Warters drew money from the pension office as the guardian of Simpson. He claimed that Warters used the money for his own use. He wanted any monies not paid out for Simpson put into the estate with interest. Additional materials in ET 1976. |

The court ordered the collection of said judgement and the sale of a tract of land that supposedly belonged to Benjamin to repay the debt. John H. filed suit to prevent the sale, claiming the land was his, and not in any way subject to the debts of Benjamin. |
