View Entry 1883 State v. Nelson Franklin Jackson Assault and Battery

Nelson, aka Lou, Franklin was charged with assault and battery against R. D. Good. The Deputy Sherriff of Jackson county sent Good to arrest Franklin. Good did not have a writ of surrender and so Franklin resisted arrest. It is not clear what Good originally intended to arrest Franklin for.
