Add. Defendants: Soloman Cooper, E.W. Easley, G.B. Price, James Warmack, and Nathan Grinsby and wife, Sarah. Bates purchased tract of land from Cooper and siblings that was willed to them by their father. Cooper & Price conveyed they could make a good deed for the land, but later filed a bill stating the deed excluded a title to Bates, making it invalid. The bill did not include Bates as holding interest in the land even though he executed payment notes to Cooper and Price. |
