Nelson, aka Lou, Franklin was charged with assault and battery against R. D. Good. The Deputy Sherriff of Jackson county sent Good to arrest Franklin. Good did not have a writ of surrender and so Franklin resisted arrest. It is not clear what Good originally intended to arrest Franklin for. |
