Taylor sued for injuries sustained during an accident on the defendants road when he was thrown from a trestle on which he was working. Claims injury was due to defective machinery owned by defendant and known about by supervisors. Taylor originally refused to ride on the trestle, but was ordered to by his superiors and headquarters, who threatened to fire him. Suing for $10,000. |

Gohery claims Herrmann is "justly indebted to him in the sum of ($10,000) Ten Thousand Dollars damages, due for the unlawful killing of his son, James Gohery." Evidently the case is still in adjudication. Defendant owned a saw mill and employed Gohery's minor son there. The boy was ordered to work on a dangerous saw, although he was not supposed to operate any of the equipment, and a piece of wood flew out, hit him in the chest, and killed him. |
