Gohery claims Herrmann is "justly indebted to him in the sum of ($10,000) Ten Thousand Dollars damages, due for the unlawful killing of his son, James Gohery." Evidently the case is still in adjudication. Defendant owned a saw mill and employed Gohery's minor son there. The boy was ordered to work on a dangerous saw, although he was not supposed to operate any of the equipment, and a piece of wood flew out, hit him in the chest, and killed him.
