Suit over agreement that Box & his dad, Allen Box , had with RR requiring RR to build & pay for switch over Box's land. RR built switch but violated other terms of agreement (which was part of compromise of earlier suits between the parties), so Box sued. Suit was to enforce the agreement & for an injunction. Allen Box died during course of litigation. RR ran from Chattanooga, TN to Hickman, KY, and passed through Humphreys County. |
