Their father had decided to make an "adjustment" of some of his property among his 3 oldest children from his first. Marriage, of whom plntff. & deft. were two, & conveyed the land to the deft., requiring him to execute a note of $250 to each of the other 2 children. Plntff. asked for recovery against deft. & sale of the land.
