Virginia Jones, wife of def. died intestate. At the time of her death, she was the owner of 4/7 tract of land in Johnson County containing about 40 acres. The remaining 3/7 of the land belonged to Hiram Jones. The deed to land provided that her 4/7 of land belonged to her for her use and the doctrine of survivor did not apply. Virginia Jones was the daughter of Moore Robinson, dec. and James Robinson was one of her brothers. Robinson family has asked def. to surrender estate, he has refused. |
