View Entry | 1887 | Edmund Clark v. J. L. McGhee & others | Hamblen | Injunction |
Clark filed an injunction bill against James L. McGhee, John McGhee, Laura McGhee, and Teresa McGhee. Clark stated that around 1872,the McGhees began setting posts for the erection of a fence that would prevent him from entering or exiting his property. The McGhees owned Clark's surrounds, but a "public" road was Clark's only way to get to his house and a nearby creek. Clark enjoined the court to stop the McGhees from building the fence--a fence which would prevent Clark from coming and going. |
