Defendant, a school teacher, is accused of carrying a pistol in public. According to witnesses, the defendant was in a heated exchange with a person named Brock who was a tenant on the defendants property. The defendant believed he was owed rent from Brock and had an attachment placed in the hands of Forrest Patrick who was deputized as a special officer. Patrick brought Brock to the home of Edmonson where the exchange occurred. |

Isaacs also made a false conveyance of sale to Levy Bros to deceive plaintiff |

In 1885, the plaintiff held the legal title to a house and lot and purchased a policy in 1887 from another insurance company (not defendant) that insured the plaintiff against loss or damage by fire. In 1888, the plaintiff transferred his policy to the defendant, who added on certain conditions. Later that year, the plaintiff's house burned down by no fault of his own or by violating any conditions listed in his policy, as the defendant accuses and refused to cover the policy. |

Additional defendants: E. M. Johnson, H. E. Johnson, Asberry Wright, and Jason H. Patterson. Plaintiffs were sureties for J. H. Burnam in a suit brought by W. S. Bright who was represented by Next Friend J. D. Tillman. Bright received judgment in his favor. Burnam had land sufficient in value to meet said judgment but it was encumbered to the amount of $800. Bright then brought suit against the plaintiffs to recover judgment. |
