Plaintiff sued defendant for $1999 for personal injuries. On 20 Dec. 1898, while driving along a public road that crossed defendant's line of railway, he found railroad crossing blocked by train. While he was waiting for the train to move his horses were frightened by the whistle of a second train that he had not been able to see because his view was obstructed by the other train. Plaintiff injured when thrown from his vehicle & into a barbed wire fence. |
