In 1920, one J. H. Richardson wanted to procure a residence in said county and consummated a trade between the parties by which Robinson would get the Melton residence and then Richardson could rent it. It was then agreed that Robinson would swap Melton a business property for Melton's residence property and Robinson would pay Melton $250 for the difference. Before signing the deed, Robinson tried to get all three of Melton's properties, when only one was agreed upon. Melton refuses to pay back the $250. |

In 1907, the parties entered into a contract for the purpose of setting out an orchard on the plaintiff's land to the raise fruit for market with profits to be equally divided. The defendant picked the trees and had nursery experience and the plaintiff invested $2,500 for land and hands. The business was a failure and the plaintiff blames the defendant for mismanagement of the orchard and marketing efforts. Plaintiff filed to dissolve the partnership and for the return of his investment. |
