Walthal Bros. undertook to sell a house and lot for Greener to Rosenbloom and got a contract of purchase accompanied by a check to pay the earnest money. When Greener tried to cash the check he discovered a stop payment had been placed on it. Rosenbloom chose not to pay, thus Greener returned the check to the purchaser, tore up the contract and sold the property to someone else. Walthal Bros. sued for full commission. |

Mrs Mason would not give up the home when asked. Court found the arrangement to be a tenant at will situation and so sided with Mrs. Lowrance. Appeals are in WT1728 (78-D-6). |

His right arm and leg were both broken. He spent many months in the hospital in Nashville and had several operations. |
