C.J. Milliken and Herman H. Milliken, petitioners, are sued defendants A.A. Doty, W.D. Cooper, T.W. Doty, Chesley Alexander and their wives. Petitioners alleging that defendants executed to them a deed conveying three tracts of land located in the 9th District of Benton County valued at $9,500 with a total of 270 acres and 95 poles. However, after purchase, land was survayed at 237 acres instead. |

Plaintiffs bought 3 tracts of land from defendants and after moving onto said land they had it surveyed and the surveyor found that it was only 237 acres instead of the 270 acres they paid for. D.G. Steele was the administrator for R.R. Chandler. Chandler was driving his automobile over railroad tracks, operated by Louisville and Nashville Rail Road Company. Chandler's car was hit by a train, and Chandler sustained fatal injuries that killed him about 40 minutes after impact. Steele is arguing that the train did not give warning of its approach, which caused Chandler's death. Steele is suing for compensation for Chandler's wife and two minor children. |

S. M. Vaughn sued the defendant for $10,000.00. In May of 1925, Dr. Oliver was a practicing physician and surgeon in Paris, TN. The plaintiff employed him to treat him for eczema located at the base of the spine and covering an area of about 3 inches. The treatment consisted of exposure of the effected area to light and rays of an X-ray machine, for 3 or 4 exposures at intervals of a few days. Exposures were too long and not focused causing severe burns in a circular area of about 12 inches. 2 folders. |
