Witnesses: Bob Wolfe (Berry's sharecropper) & sons Coy & Roy; Long's teen children Rossie May & Ralph, Walter McMillan (col., worked for Long). |

Additional plaintiffs: Helen McCrary Garcia and H.H. McCrary. Plaintiffs were surviving siblings of Bessie McCrary Branson, who was the wife of defendant. She was the owner of a tract of land worth $8000. Bessie was suffering from cancer and was under the influence of opiates and therefore, was incapable of transferring her property. Plaintiffs wanted deed to H.M. Branson declared void due to Bessie being of unsound mind. Many exhibits: deed, inventory, will, and 8 boxes from Freels Drug Store. 5 folders. |

Hammer was a manager of the local branch of H.G. Hill Company store, a retail grocery business, located on Main Street in Morristown. A man named Red Graham attempted to steal merchandise, rob the cash drawer, and attempted to pass a forged check. Hammer followed him and in process of retrieving stolen merchandise, he was injured in the shoulder and right arm. Def. later discharged him due to his injury nor did they pay him for his injuries. Hammer suing for half his wages for 300 weeks. 2 folders. |

Add. Defendants: Mrs. Minnie Turner Shumate, Mrs. Anndie Turner Drinnn, & Jesse M. Turner. All parties are the heirs of Robert Turner (dec'd) and Martha J. Turner (dec'd). R. Turner left a will for a certain tract of land and a house. The plaintiff was the chief beneficiary under said will, but it was later destroyed by their mother. Plaintiff sued to have the will made by R. Turner while in sound mind reinstated and he be named owner of the property with right to entry. |
