Carr sued the insurance company to recover on his policy. Carr was a physician stationed at Elizabethton. While Carr's policy was in effect, Carr became paralyzed in his feet, legs, and hands. Defendant paid him $479.92-the amount due him for March to May 1930. Defendant refused to make further payments that plaintiff was entitled to for May to September 1930. Plaintiff suing for $1826.61. Court ruled in pla. Favor for $1350 and an additional $100 per month as long as he was totally disabled.

The defendant, Carrier's Bakery, bought 2100 barrels of flour from plaintiff. Plaintiff suing for $2625.60 debt for 750 barrels of flour bought and used by bakery & for $2889 debt for cancelling an order of 1350 barrels; their suing machinery co. for $2650 for unpaid notes past due. 2 folders.

Plntff. seeking a judgment against the defts. on 3 notes totaling $18,700. Montvale filed "plea in abatement" on grounds that as a foreign corporation with no property or office in TN it could not be sued in the state of TN. Wood denies the allegation. 3 Folders.

Add. Def. J. D. Nave, J. M. Folsom and J. M. Moreland. The Def., conducting business under the name of Ketron-Nave Motor Company, are accused of being indebted to Pla. for the financing of a car. Def. sent a check for the balance due but it was returned. Casefile discusses various types of automobile financing and contains finance records.
