Drane sought $413.61 in debt for personal services given to Ducks Quack Corp. Ex: testimony of plaintiff

Debt is for a set of "books about the war." Kinney stated that "Simon & Carmody, told him that for every ten sets they sold they would give a set away, stating that it would be an advertisement for their benefit." Kinney claimed that they gave him the set of books for free but asked him to sign the same contract as any other individual would sign if they were buying them. Parke, Austin & Lipscomb was a company in New York.

Defendant was a partner in the Atlanta Lunch Room and ran a credit with the defendant for goods totaling $196.32, of which he paid $83.72 but discontinued payments. A balance of $111.79 was left on his account with the plaintiff.

Irvin sued Hill for $22.66 debt on account. Irvin represented the Shenandoah Life Insurance Company and sold Hill an insurance policy of $1000 with a premium of $22.66. Hill never paid him the premium, therefore he sued. Court ruled in plaintiff's favor for $22.66 plus interest. Hill appealed. Exhibit is the insurance policy for Hill through the Shenandoah Life Insurance Co.

Moreland sued Williams to collect debt he owed for Moreland's services in fixing an electric fan. Judgment rendered in Moreland's favor for $21. Williams asked for new trial, claiming new evidence--3 witnesses (Jim Finley, Tom Tomlinson, Bob McKinney)-- who would testify one of them was always present at Williams' place of business & Moreland never notified them that motor Williams repaired was not performing satisfactorily (as Moreland had claimed). SC affirmed judgment for Moreland.

The defendant is comprised of Dr. R. M. McCown, John R. Moser, Alex Chavis, C. A. Catlett, & R. L. Quinton. The plaintiff states the defendant is indebted to him in the sum of $74.20 for duties performed for the state.

Add. Def: Sam Sanders, and C. and S. Laundry. This case involves a Dodge truck which the Pla. sold to the Laundry Co. Def. Campbell acquired the truck in bankruptcy when it was later sold. Pla. is sued for the number of days it used the truck before it was replevied. Exhibit materials include Bill of Sale, payment coupons and bankruptcy paperwork.

Dempsey is sued for debt of $257.50 for that the defendant repossessed an automobile sold to LeCroy and transferred to plaintiff and failed to comply with the conditional sales law of Tennessee Exhibits include bill of exchange, receipts of monthly payments, conditional sales agreement and transfer of possession form.

Plea of debt due by wrongful seizure conversion and appropriation of one Chevrolet Sedan and the value of his interest therein and in violation the conditional sales contract under $500.
