While he was making repairs, he slipped and fell against the rails injuring himself and from which injuries in died. Add. Defendants: Fletcher Brown & Frank Thomas. The parties entered into a written agreement for the timber located on a farm owned by one Robert Chad well's heirs to haul the timber away. This was carried on for some time by the defendant, but S. Brown took over, but failed to take the logs off the property after cutting them, failing to uphold the contract. Later, the defendants under careless management, stacked the logs in a negligent manner, injuring the integrity of the lumber. |

The defendant had an insurance policy with the defendant for $1,500 of coverage on his house, barn, and all of the property within. In 1926, the plaintiff's barn caught fire and it and all its contents were destroyed. From the proof of loss, the plaintiff claims that $500 should be secured on the barn, but the defendant refuses to settle with the plaintiff, even after several attempts. Plaintiff filed to recover the $500 covered by his policy. |
