Will Cummings is a County Judge in Hamilton Co. Hays Clark is the Clerk of the Criminal Court of Hamilton Co. and Charles Taylor is Sheriff of Hamilton Co. Has Clark filed a petition in the Criminal Court under the provisions of the Salary Law of 1921. Petition was asking for authorization to pay a salary of $250.00 per month to one of his deputies and $250.00 per month to another and asking to hire another deputy. The court agreed to this but then the county revenue dropped off and things changed. |

Suit predicated on the theory that two Becker employees (identified as servants), Bethel Black and J. N. Jamieson, conspired to falsely charge Parker with housebreaking, larceny, trespassing, loitering, or some other crime. Black, acting on Becker Company orders, lured Parker to the Becker warehouse where a policeman was waiting to make the arrest. Parker refused to enter the warehouse after telling Black that he and manager Jamieson were "on the outs." |
